Keller, Inc. has been chosen as the architect and general contractor on a new 35,000 square foot building project for The Mineshaft Restaurant in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The new building will serve as a restaurant and bar and include a family entertainment game room facility. The total value of the investment is over $16 million.
The Hartford Mineshaft Restaurant is Wisconsin’s largest restaurant est. in 1975, with availability to seat over 500 people. The restaurant prides themselves on serving large portions of quality “home-made” food at reasonable prices and providing an atmosphere that appeals to the entire family. The Mineshaft Restaurant has expanded from their original location, located in Hartford, WI, eight times over the last several years, and the company has now decided to add their second location, in Oshkosh, WI.
This building project would not be possible if it weren’t for the tremendous collaboration between the City of Oshkosh, Oshkosh Chamber, The Mineshaft Restaurant, Extreme Customs, Rogan’s Shoes, Keller, Inc. and Invista Analytics. It is an exciting new development at the gateway to Oshkosh located at the former Wal-Mart and JC Penney site. The Mineshaft Restaurant team is thankful for everyone’s hard work on making this project happen.
A groundbreaking is scheduled for the new restaurant on Thursday, August 1st at the facility’s future location at 2041 South Koeller Street (Highway 41, exit 44) in Oshkosh, WI. The project is projected to take roughly nine months to complete and is expected to begin once developer agreements are finalized with the City of Oshkosh.
