Paradise Paws Camp & Resort

The Owner is an avid fan of dogs and volunteers much of her time in dog rescue.  Being a true passion of hers, she partnered with the Keller, Inc. Project Manager, Architect and Interior Designer to design and build a dog daycare and boarding kennel that includes unique features such as:  radiant heat, heat recovery ventilation, indoor/outdoor resort concept and kennel-free boarding.  Being able to work with the Owner, and the neighborhood, to design a facility that allowed for not only sound proofing of the facility, but with the ability to keep safety top of mind, is what made the Owner choose Keller, Inc. to be her design/build partner.

Steins Aircraft

Location:  Waukesha, Wisconsin
Building Type:  Ground-Up
Project:  22,950 Sq. Ft. Airplane Hangar

 

The Owner of Steins Aircraft partnered with the Keller, Inc. Project Manager, Architect and Interior Designer to design and build a facility that would meet their growing business needs.  Unique to this project is that the building is 160′ clear span building and includes one of the most sophisticated hangar doors in the market; four independent door panels move independently to allow for various door configurations.

 

N.E.W. Plastics Corp.

Location:  Luxemburg, Wisconsin
Building Type:  Addition
Project:  8,020 Sq. Ft. Building Addition

The Owners of N.E.W. Plastics Corp. partnered with the Keller, Inc. Project Manager, Architect and Interior Designer to design and build an office addition because they had outgrown their space and needed to expand.  Unique to this project would be the interior accent walls consisting of reclaimed lumber from the Vincent family farm that was built in the early 1900s, the exterior plastic lumber on the facility is a product manufactured by N.E.W. Plastics, and the fact that the team of Keller experts were able to assist N.E.W. Plastics Corp. in working with the DOT to obtain access off of HWY 54.  Throughout the project, the Keller Architect was also able to value engineer and provided solutions for many issues created by existing roof slopes and existing parking lot grades to help the project remain on-budget.

State Farm

Location:  Wausau, Wisconsin

Project:  1,783 Sq. Ft. Office Building

The Owner partnered with Keller, Inc. to design, build and construct a new facility to better serve their customers, to transition from a leased space to an owned space, and to increase their visibility in the Wausau market.  The warm residential exterior is inviting and efficient, while the interior design is cozy, open, and airy.  The Owner has many relationships with local contractors who they wanted to work alongside Keller, Inc. throughout the project.  By partnering together, we were able to not only meet the needs of the customer while keeping the project in-budget, but also able to gain new relationships throughout the Wausau market.

Associated Appraisal

Location:  Greenville, Wisconsin

Project:  9,300 Sq. Ft. Office Building

The Owners of Associated Appraisal were leasing their previous building when they reached out to the team at Keller, Inc. to partner on a new ground-up facility.  Unique to this project is the focus the Owners had on ensuring employee-morale.  The office has an open concept design, an employee break room, and a patio for employees to enjoy throughout the day.

Chem Design

Location:  Marinette, Wisconsin

Chem Design partnered with the Keller, Inc. Project Manager, Architect and Interior Designer to update their existing campus with an inefficient and outdated building, to an updated ground-up facility that would meet their needs.  The team of Keller experts were challenged with designing a Technology and Innovation Center to house a large QA lab, office area, employee amenity areas (locker rooms/break room), training room, Corporate office area, meeting rooms, board room and R & D lab.  The biggest challenge with the build were the site conditions; high water table and unsuitable soils that required geo piers being installed to carry the load of the building.

Women’s Care of Wisconsin

Location:  Appleton, Wisconsin

Project:  24,000 Sq. Ft. Interior Remodel

The Owners were interested in partnering with Keller, Inc. to design and remodel an existing facility to meet the needs of their customers, and because they were interested in owning a facility rather than renting at their previous facility.  Unique to this project is that the registration area is designed for comfort, while keeping customers private, the waiting area is timeless in it’s feel and the waiting room is designed around ensuring customer wait times are kept to a minimum.

Unlike most projects, this project entailed the Keller, Inc. on-staff construction crews to work in an occupied building on a tight time frame.  Our onsite Foreman recognized this and had weekly, and sometimes daily, meetings with the various other tenants to discuss activities that could be a disruption to their respective business.  Our overall teams approach to be proactive proved to be essential to keeping all parties informed and the building owner, truly appreciated that.

Thompson Animal Medical Center

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin

Project:  1,008 Sq. Ft. Addition and Remodel

After working at the practice for a number of years, the Owners of Thompson Animal Medical Center chose to partner with Keller, Inc. on an interior renovation with the goal to increase the access for customers to get in to and out of the lobby.  The team of Keller experts worked with them to build a small addition and remodel to the lobby to include a lot of natural light, added a new bathroom,  a managers office, and increased the receptionist desk to allow for separate incoming and outgoing clients.  The Keller team provided an office trailer onsite for the clinic to use as a reception area during construction so they could remain open for their customers throughout the entire build process.

 

Dreier Family Dental

Capital Credit Union

Location:  De Pere, Wisconsin
Project:  Interior Remodel

The Keller, Inc. team were in the process of designing an addition to the Capital Credit Union Corporate office in Green Bay, Wisconsin when they came across an existing building that could meet their needs in West DePere with the right remodel partner.  While working with the team at Capital Credit Union, the Keller, Inc. Project Manager, Architect and Interior Designer were able to design and build a new branch within an existing building that included an additional vestibule addition and a drive-up with canopy.

Scaffidi Collision Center

Location:  Stevens Point, Wisconsin
Building Type:  Ground-Up
Project:  25,733 Sq. Ft. Collision Center

Scaffidi decided to build their new Collision Center because they identified an underserved marketplace in the Stevens Point area. They also wanted to own their real estate, rather than rent, allowing for increased efficiency by consolidating operations under one roof.

The project features a stylish and comfortable customer service area with in floor heat as well as a drive-in estimating area for added appeal and ease of use for clients. It also features brand new down draft paint booths employing the newest technology to provide the highest quality collision repair. The exterior walls of the work area are insulated metal panels to provide a clean look inside and out and creating a comfortable and tidy area to work, all while boosting the energy efficiency of the building.

Scaffidi’s Collision Center had a few challenges that Keller was able to solve for the owner. They wanted a design that appealed to the comfort of the clients and the Keller Architect worked through several different design concepts to achieve that. Keller staff also worked to maximize the existing building site, putting the most square footage on the property as possible while maintaining flow and efficiency. Working with the city government, Keller overcame a property setback encumbrance by applying for and receiving a variance requiring multiple meetings.

 

Keller, Inc. to Build for Walsh Dental Group

Dr. Ashley Walsh has hired Keller, Inc. to help her through the site acquisition, project planning, site development, architecture, interior design and construction of a brand new state-of-the-art dental facility. The building is designed around total patient comfort and care and to accommodate recent medical protocols. Attention to detail and patient comfort are a main focus at Walsh Dental Group.
