Karls Family Dentistry

Location:  Waunakee, Wisconsin
Project:  2,538 Sq. Ft. Addition & 3,380 Sq. Ft. Remodel

Our first introduction to the Karls was in June 2019. At first we were talking of remodeling their existing practice and we carefully listened to their needs and came back with some small changes and budget numbers. After some thought and conversation internally, they thought the right way to proceed was to add on.

We began by tearing down an adjacent building to provide room for the addition. Next, site work began and utilities were run in. The site was challenging due to having to dig an extra 4’ to find suitable soils. Also, keeping the practice open during construction as the pandemic was in full swing presented us material availability issues, but the safety of everyone on site became top priority. Working with Patterson Dental and all of our subcontractors, we were assured it would be done right.

Keller used 4900 man hours to build a very unique and functional facility. By increasing the R-value, updating lighting and HVAC, to beautiful features such as paneled walls, fireplace, grand high windows and beams in the lobby, it is truly a state of the art facility they should be proud of.

VandenBoom Verstegen Wealth Management

Location:  Kimberly, Wisconsin
Building Type:  Ground-Up
Project: 3,936 Sq. Ft. Financial Office Building

Project consisted of a single-story ground-up office building to replace their rented office. Following interviews with other architects and contractors, they choose Keller to design and build their new facility.

The interior design of this project combined coordination of exterior materials, the client’s wish to have a comfortable and timeless space and, of course, the project budget. The wood clad wall
behind the reception desk mimics the wood-look siding on the building’s façade, while bringing richness and warmth to the lobby. FLOR rugs and Mannington carpet tiles give the space a
comfortable, residential feel, while the large-scale stone-look porcelain floor tile ensures a modern yet timeless look. Inverted diamond chandeliers, playing off the shapes in the company’s
branding, hang over the reception desk to help to bring the tall ceiling down to a human scale.

Bank of Luxemburg

Location:  Howard, Wisconsin
Building Type:  Ground-Up
Project:  4,490 Sq. Ft. Bank

For the first time since 1903, the Bank of Luxemburg expanded their footprint to the “west side of the Fox River” in the Village of Howard.  The ground up 4,490 sq. ft. branch broke ground in early October 2021.  Within 40 days Keller, Inc. and the subcontractors had brought in approximately 8,500 cubic yards of fill, completed all exterior and interior underground utilities, exterior concrete, asphalt binder course, building foundations and floor slab.  This provided for a safe, clean, and easy to maintain site throughout winter construction.

The unique architecture designed by Keller, features a combination of masonry stone, brick, glass curtain walls, and ACM paneling to compliment the colors of The Bank of Luxemburg.  The drive thru includes (1) drive up window, and (2) interactive teller machines which are housed in their own conditioned spaces.

The interior design provided by Keller displays frameless interior glass, floor to ceiling interior windows at offices and conference rooms, wall tile accents throughout – including a 14’ high free standing fireplace feature with wood mantel at the front Lobby.  The ceilings in at the upper clerestory show painted structural steel with stained tongue and groove wood planks

Eyecare Center of Wausau

Location:  Wausau, Wisconsin
Building: 6,322 Sq. Ft. Ground-Up Eye Clinic

The new eye clinic has 14′ ceilings in the retail area and was built because the owners outgrew the space that was previously leased.  The finished product reflects both the owner and city approvals, while meeting goals and the budget that the customer wanted.
