Keller, Inc. to Build for Baileys Harbor Fire and Rescue

Keller, Inc. has been chosen as the architect and construction management team on a new 15,600 square foot building project for the Town of Baileys Harbor located in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. The new building will include a brand new ground-up fire station.

Baileys Harbor Fire and Rescue lies in the center of the Door Peninsula. The department covers approximately 32 square miles and has been operating out of their original facility built in 1956. The existing facility was designed to house a smaller staff with less equipment and the lack of space has created inefficiencies for the current staff. With the extensive list of safety issues and overall inefficiencies with the current town fire station a special elector meeting authorized to move forward with the design of a new fire station at the same location as the original facility. Upon completion of the design and bidding of the project a subsequent elector meeting took place in March to approve the funding for the project.

Construction began in early April and is projected to be completed in November of 2020.
