Summer

Keller tips:

As the temperature rises, so does the cost of cooling your business or home. The most common and convenient way to keep the temperature down is to use the standard air conditioner, but there are additional steps that can be taken to lower your energy bill significantly:

  1. Use your fan often. One fan can make a room feel six or seven degrees cooler and even the most evergy hungry fan costs less than ten dollars to use if you keep it on for 12 hours a day.
  2. Close your blinds, shades and draperies facing the sun (east-facing windows in the morning and west-facing windows in the afternoon).
  3. Reduce internal heat. The most common source of internal heat gain are: appliances, electronic devices and lighting.

Consider implementing these tips to save some money and beat the heat this summer!
