The project consisted of adding 20 feet to the building, remodeling to add a kitchen for hot food service, and expanding a load-bearing wall. This project was successfully designed and built with the Owner to ensure the convenience store could remain open throughout the entire build process. New to the city was the expansion request of the building, due to municipal code this was not initially something they would approve of, but after working step-by-step with the Project Manager, he and the Mayor were able to rewrite the municipal code to allow the project to move forward.
