Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin will honor Keller, Inc. with a GOLD Projects of Distinction – Excellence in Construction Award for this project on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Wisconsin Dells.
Project Overview
The new Westhill Dental facility in Appleton, Wisconsin, is a testament to how vision, collaboration, and innovation can transform the patient experience. What began as a plan for a simple addition to an existing dental office quickly evolved into a ground-up, state-of-the-art 14-operatory practice that redefines the standard for modern dental care.
Early in the process, it became clear that the original site could not support the clinic’s long-term goals. Keller’s design-build team stepped in to identify and provide the perfect new parcel of land – large enough to accommodate future growth while maintaining prime visibility and access. From there, Keller guided the client through its proprietary Discovery process, working side-by-side to evaluate every operational need and spatial detail. Over several collaborative planning sessions, the team developed a layout that enhances workflow efficiency, patient comfort, and staff productivity.
The result is a striking, contemporary facility that perfectly balances form and function. A two-story glass tower welcomes patients with abundant natural light, complemented by bold dark finishes, stone accents, and maintenance-free exterior materials. Inside, the design reflects the precision and care that define Dr. Trenton Paffenroth’s practice – modern, comfortable, and efficient in every detail.
Keller’s fully integrated design-build approach allowed for transparent coordination, accelerated scheduling, and early material procurement. The project utilized advanced tools such as Revit modeling, Trimble layout technology, and Procore project management software to ensure design accuracy and real-time communication. Every step was executed with precision and accountability, resulting in an on-time – and even ahead-of-schedule – delivery.
