What kinds of self-storage facilities does Keller construct?
Keller builds climate-controlled facilities, mini self-storage, multi-story storage buildings and additions to existing sites across Wisconsin. Completed work includes single-story drive-up units, two-story indoor facilities with upper-level loading areas and fully climate-controlled buildings designed for the items customers store year-round.
How large a self-storage facility can Keller build?
We work with you to build exactly what you need. Completed projects range from about 4,050 square feet, like DS Storage in Appleton, to 79,000 square feet, like Germantown Storage, so the building fits your site, your demand and your budget.
Can Keller expand an existing self-storage facility?
Yes. Additions and expansions are a large share of this work, including the 30,000-square-foot two-story addition at Falls Storage in Menomonee Falls and a second-story addition built on top of the existing climate-controlled facility at Germantown Storage.
Where does Keller build self-storage projects?
Keller serves owners and operators across Wisconsin from four offices: the Fox Cities in Kaukauna, Milwaukee in Germantown, Madison in Sun Prairie and Wausau. Completed self-storage projects reach from Slinger and Hartford to Appleton, De Pere, Larsen and Shawano.
What Is Design-Build, and why does it matter for a self-storage project?
Design-build puts planning, architecture and construction under one contract and one accountable team. For a storage owner that means the people costing the building are the people who will construct it, so unit mix, climate control and budget are settled on real numbers rather than estimates passed between firms. See how our process works.
How long has Keller been building?
Keller was founded in 1960 and has grown into commercial construction across markets throughout Wisconsin. Read our full history.
