Retail Projects

Keller builds retail stores, showrooms and dealerships, grocery and specialty food stores, and nonprofit resale stores across Wisconsin. Projects range from a compact coffee shop to a grocery store above 37,000 square feet, including new construction, build-outs, and renovations.

The data from the U.S. Census Bureau says yes. About 84% of U.S. retail sales still happen in physical stores, and a net number of new stores continue to open each year. The role of the store has shifted toward experience and brand, which makes thoughtful design more valuable, not less.

Store design shapes the customer experience directly. The storefront sets the first impression, the layout guides how customers move and what they notice, and lighting and materials influence how long they stay. These choices have real commercial effects, which is why design and construction are best handled together.

Yes. Many of our retail project build-outs and renovations happen with operations continuing nearby. Keller sequences the work to contain disruption.

Design-build places planning, architecture, interior design, and construction under one accountable team, so the way a store should look and feel is designed and built together, with one point of responsibility for the schedule. For an owner counting on an opening date, that accountability matters. See how our process works.

Whether you are opening a specialty shop, a showroom, a grocery store, or a destination that draws customers from across the region, Keller brings the design insight and the accountability your project deserves. Tell us about your business and we will show you how we would approach it.
